Black bluesman renders French hero homeless.
I love having my own blog, so I can post irresponsible headlines like this.
But actually, the alibaster bust of La Salle, the man who claimed the Mississippi Valley for France, and who established the first Anglo settlement in Texas, the sculpture of this famous American and French hero, once given to the City of Navasota by the French Government, was removed, somewhat unceremoniously, to August Horst Park when the bronze monumant of Mance Lipscomb was installed.
I'll tell you what I'm thinkin' if you'll tell me what you're thinkin'. Some folks are trying to put together a proposal to make a new and suitable home for this NATIONAL TREASURE.
no matter how... unappealing it is...
Got some ideas about that too.
