Nessie gets a stainless scarf...

These photos illustrate the teamwork necessary to fabricate one of these large sculptures... and one of the reasons why they cost so much. I promised the folks over at Blinn College I would keep them posted via this blog, so they could see our progress.

The sculpture will weigh around a thousand pounds after it is assembled, perhaps more. We are creating this contemporary steel monolith at Hughes Fabrication, here in Navasota.
