The angry shore of Matagorda Bay is about to eat the road which circles the La Salle monument in Indianola. Just one more storm will do it. Cars pass precariously close right now to the cliff made by surf erosion. If it is a bad storm, it will eat the ground underneath La Salle as well. A little something to look forward to... the curse continues... I wondered what French dignitaries would think if they were to happen upon this neglect by our State. Maybe they would take it personally... Perhaps this is no oversight after all!
