The view from FM 362 is the best and safest place to view the fire... I counted five different plumes rising up along the ridge between the point of origin and present location of the fire. 25 mile an hour winds seemed to fan the fires back up a little on Monday morning, but the damage was already done... now a number of great old pine trees will slowly burn up, along with countlesss stumps uncovered by the scorching of the forest floor.
