Life imitating art imitating life...
Thanks to a new friend, Huan for taking these pictures. We had a delightful morning at the Texas A & M Horticulture Garden Saurday morning. I gave a quick critique afterwards at the Forsyth. It was encouraging to have a few artists come out and enjoy nature and paint the beauty we all have at our disposal.
This beautiful area may be defunded and removed and gone forever, unless plans are changed. Perhaps these artists have captured a fleeting beauty that is escaping us, and preserved the handiwork of devoted Aggie gardeners there for posterity...
And perhaps works like these will rekindle interest in the garden. Great things have evolved from the power of Art.
